On March 31, 2010 at 1539 hours, Catlett was dispatched to assist with a barn fire on Covingtons Corner Rd.  Engine 7 and Tanker 7 responded.  First arriving units from Remington reported a fully involved barn with exposures and a brush fire quickly spreading.  Brush and Engine 2 quickly worked to begin extinguishment and to stop the spread of the fire.  Tanker 7 assisted with water supply while Engine 7 was given the task of stopping the spreading brush fire with assistance from Engine 1, Attack 8, Gator 2, and members of the Department of Forestry.  Extensive overhaul was needed to extinguish the barn and hot spots from the brush fire.  Company 7 units were released and clear of the scene at 1920 hours.
